The Magene EXAR Ultra DB508 2025 wheelset enters the market claiming serious aerodynamic credentials, aggressive design features, and a no-compromise attitude. In this technical breakdown, we’ll take a closer look at the construction, component selection, ride performance, and engineering decisions that set this wheelset apart from the usual carbon rebrands flooding the market. When a £3,000 carbon bike goes wrong, you would expect the manufacturer to stand behind it. That was not the case here. This Canyon Ultimate CF SLX arrived after Canyon refused a warranty claim. The owner had gone through several bottom brackets in just a couple of years and on the last replacement spotted a…
If you are about to buy a Cervelo bike, watch this video. It shows the appalling tolerances the bike frames are made to. Did you manage to get this to work with hydraulics? Having a few issues here.
