I take great pride in my Engineering and it’s really rewarding when people post about equipment that carries my name. I have rounded up some feedback from social media and personal emails

My story is a bit of a unique one. I watched one of Hambini’s videos on bearings and that convinced me to ditch ceramic bearings and buy some high-quality NTN/SKF bearings. Foolishly, I went and bought a set of bearings from a company called **** Velo bearings. These bearings turned out to be rubbish and I contacted Hambini to complain that he was misleading in his video. What followed was quite remarkable

I had problems with my Zipp wheel hubs for quite some time and multiple of these NTN and SKF bearings had caused problems. I presumed the problem to be the hubs.

I sent the wheels off to Hambini for him to take a look at. He came back to me and said the bearings I had purchased appeared to be counterfeit. He sent the wheels back and I contacted SKF who did confirm the bearings to be counterfeit.

I have since purchased some new bearings from Hambini and I have had no problems. Hambini’s service is top notch and I would have no hesitation in recommending him. Thankyou

“Fantastic customer service and support from Hambini!

After watching Hambini’s YouTube videos on replacing Zipp wheel bearings I was very confident I’d be able to replace my so bit the bullet and purchased his Hambini 6903 press tool. After very speedy turnaround in receiving the parts I set about the task in-hand and got work. The tooling of the part was great and fit perfectly, but unfortunately, I hit a snag right from the start. While trying to press the new bearing into the rear hub shell it was clear that something wasn’t right as it simply wouldn’t install, regardless of the force I applied. After scratching my head and trying a few different things I decided, as a last resort, to email Hambini to see if could suggest anything or point out what I was might be doing wrong. Having emailed him out of normal business hours I assumed it would be, at the very least, the next day before hearing form him, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive an instant response offering to help. We exchanged numbers and I shared some images illustrating the problem I was having, and he proceeded to call me directly to chat through things and ultimately helped me resolve the issue. Although it was as quickly apparent that the issue was not related to his tool Hambini was very patient and spent nearly an hour in total chatting with me and didn’t at any stage seem put out. It’s very rare to receive this level of customer service these days, so I felt compelled to share a few words to express my gratitude and thanks to Hambini for all his help – a true gentleman and very knowledgeable person. Thank you!”

I finally got around to fitting your race bottom bracket to my Canyon Aeroad CFX 9.0 last Saturday. I measured the diameter of the original Shimano press fit BB and compared it to your BB and the tolerances were precisely identical. So as the Shimano went in without any issue I decided to fit yours without freezing and without adding any lubrication/WD40. It all worked out perfectly and smoothly, no drama. I used the activator and Loctite as recommended by you for the belt and braces approach.

I rode the bike twice since the install and covered 200kms creak free. I can actually feel the added reinforcement to the bottom bracket area as a result of the one piece design. The bearings are lovely and smooth and when you rotate the cranks they rotate 2 to 3 times more than the original Shimano press fit. I’m very happy with the design and look forward to racking up the miles over the next few years. Thanks for all your assistance and I will be back to you once my S-Works Tarmac SL5 is due for a new BB replacement.

Thank you for your wonderful bottom bracket. No more creak and the bike just feels better. I have recommended you to everyone I know and my local bike shop was enthralled with the product. I can’t thank you enough.
