Order process was easy and took less than 2 weeks to get to California. Just got my classic BB installed so haven’t needed the removal tool yet, but the craftsmanship is as superb as the BB.

The Tool clearance is to big for my frame so it is hard to align the Tool for a straight press. It is my framedesign that is not flat around the bottom bracket

The tool is really well made. Like others, I bought it for when I have to remove the tool for repairs, such as Di2 battery replacement as needed. The only caveat is that the hole diameter doesn’t fit the Park Tool bottom bracket bearing press. You’d either have to buy a new rod to insert it or see if you can enlarge the hole on the removal tool. Nonetheless, it’s a great tool to have with any Hambini bottom bracket..

Q & A

Thanks for such a quick delivery! A slight (user error no doubt...) issue. Having watched the guidance video, I've replicated the process. However, once the BB (BB86) is halfway through, so the tension is removed from the tool, the nut on the opposite end just spins. How do I ensure tension remains as I continue to turn the tool to remove the other side? Adam C. asked on June 28, 2023

if this happens, you can use a deep socket and hold it whilst using a spanner on the other end.

Does this tool also remove a BB92 Hambini Racing Bottom bracket? Johannes Doerner asked on July 11, 2021

it will remove all but the last 3mm of it, you'd need some washers to get the last bit out if it's stuck.

How would a PF30 cup be removed from the frame, if an opposite cup prevents doing this? Sorry, I may not fully understand how the tool works... Vassiliy asked on June 4, 2021

This is designed for a Hambini bottom bracket. Not another manufacturer.
