Blind bearing pullers, initially created to remove bearings from rotating equipment without rear access, have been popularized for removing wheel bearings. Despite their increased use, these tools can inflict unnoticed damage on wheels. Primarily deployed in automotive and machinery maintenance, blind bearing pullers slide through the bearing, expand behind it, and retract, exerting a steady force without damaging surrounding areas. However, concerns arise when these tools are used without considering potential damage to internal preload spacers, causing potential legal repercussions for negligent installation in professional settings.
A review of the very affordable $389 ProX carbon bike wheels. These wheels are an ideal entry into the world of carbon or for use as a secondary set of training wheels. They are robust and will take significant abuse. There are some compromises to hit the price point, the main one being the weight.
Over several years, bike wheels have been tested for aerodynamic performance. To date, this is the largest independent dataset available. Popular brands such as DT Swiss, SwissSide, Shimano, Mavic and Bontrager have all been tested. This dataset was originally derived from wind tunnel test data but has latterly moved over to Dinitriev number with a…
Lightbicycle are a far eastern company that has been making bike wheels for a considerable length of time. They sent in a set of their Falcon Pro wheels which have a constantly varying cross section for test. These performed very well.
9Velo is a relatively new company, but the individuals behind it have been in the carbon fibre wheel industry for a considerable length of time. These gravel wheels have some of the highest levels of manufacturing quality that I have ever seen. The hubs are probably the best ones you can buy; they make DT Swiss units look like rough copies in comparison.
Bicycle wheel balancing is a topic that is often discussed but has not ever been dissected in detail. A lot of professionals balance their wheels and this has filtered down to the amateur ranks wishing to eek out the maximum amount of performance. This post will look at the engineering behind the balancing of bicycle wheels.

Awesome, KUDOS! I have one question. I have Caad 12 Disc version, so is there enough space for hydraulic tube for rear disc brake?
KUDOS again!
The centre section of this BB is the same size as a 30mm crank so it has the same amount of clearance. If your hydraulic lines fit in that envelope then this BB should work.
Did you manage to get this to work with hydraulics? Having a few issues here.
